Innaugural post

i was thinking that this should totally be a killer post so that i can attract a load of loyal readers. but, really, when it comes to blogging, you just have to put something up to start the ball rolling.

so, i guess i should introduce this blog to the world. this is the space where i'll explore my experiences in graduate school. i expect to include ocassional tidbits from the world of biology, explore my unusual relationship with my advisor, write about the frustrations of finishing grad school and trying to find a job, and whatever i feel moved to write about at any given time.

so, i'll have to see how this goes.
